Requirements:
Working knowledge of legal descriptions
Working knowledge of computers
Good public relations skills
Clean driving Record
Physically able to walk extended distances (1 mile a day)
High school diploma or G.E.D. (minimum)
Successfully complete Statutory appraisal courses
Attend additional appraisal courses
Drug testing
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Visual inspection of real and personal property in Garfield County
Determining current use of property, residential, agricultural, or commercial
Data entry of property information into appraisal system
Take digital photographs of property
Represent the Garfield County Assessor's Office on public relations matters
